A message from Father Goodman:

As you can see from the recent statement from the Bishops of England and Wales (click here or here), sadly there will be no more public celebrations of the Mass until the restrictions are lifted.

All other gatherings such as choir practice, children's catechesis, First Holy Communion and Confirmation and so on will also be cancelled and rearranged at a later date.

I will be celebrating Mass each day for you all. Mass will be live streamed so that you will be able to participate in Mass online: a link will always be on this website. The schedule for these Masses is on the Newsletter, together with the intentions for these Masses.

We also hope to live stream Adoration and the Holy Rosary.

Please pass on this information to any friends you know who have no access to the internet.

Let us pray for one another in this difficult and distressing time. Please pray particularly for those who are going to be lonely and isolated at this time. Please support each other by telephone; I have asked the SVP to have a particular concern for those particularly in need in this time when we are having to live at a distance from one another.

God bless you,
Fr Goodman Parish Priest, Corpus Christi and Our Lady’s

Corpus Christi and Our Lady of Perpetual Succour are two Catholic parishes in the north and north east of Wolverhampton, in the Archdiocese of Birmingham. The parishes cover the Low Hill, Bushbury, Fallings Park, Ashmore Park and Coppice Farm areas of Wolverhampton. These parishes are increasingly multicultural in character and have been working together under one Parish Priest since 2014.

Corpus Christi church is on Griffiths Drive in the middle of the Ashmore Park estate, a short distance up the hill from the shops. Alongside the church is a large social club with bar and function room.

Our Lady's Church is located on the Cannock Road in Old Fallings, just over 2 miles from the centre of Wolverhampton.
